A Little Housekeeping

wouldn't want to go without saying thank you for showing up every week to read what I have to say even though you're busy with your life and responsibilities.  thank you for your time and attention; I appreciate you.  for today's newsletter, I want to focus on you and do a mini breathing exercise.  take a deep breath in and a breath out.  bring awareness to your body as you continue to breathe; notice your chest rise and fall.  keep breathing deeply and slowly, try not to think about anything else besides your breath and your rising/falling chest.

quick reminder: you are a source of light.  someone is looking to you as inspiration to keep going; so you must keep going yourself.  keep breathing.  remember to care for yourself periodically and more so if you care for others; you can't pour from an empty cup.  keep breathing.  take everything one step at a time so that you don't over-extend yourself; breaks are good and you shouldn't feel guilty for taking as many as you need.  keep breathing.

remember that kindness isn't one way; be kind to yourself too as you show kindness to others.  never speak harshly to/about yourself; you're amazing.  keep breathing.  everyday from now on, once a day, try and give yourself a present.  don't plan it, don't wait for it, just let it happen.  could be a new shirt, a catnap in the middle of the day, a tasty dessert, or an extra cup of coffee.  you deserve a little bit of special treatment.  all in all, make some time to take some time for yourself because self-care is mandatory.  take care.  have an amazing day!
