Regardless of what you do or don’t believe spiritually, we can agree that we were somewhere else before our lives on earth began. What if the whole point of our existence is to be ourselves and love one another; hear me out for a second. Let’s say there was an arrangement to come to earth for the purpose of sharing our uniqueness with others and showing love to people; oh, and before you drag me…part of the arrangement was that we had to do “earth stuff” while we’re here i.e., work, eat, sleep, learn, contribute to society etc. but that was it.
If you think it sounds too good to be true, you’re right; there is a catch – no two people will be the same, yet we’ll be convinced (constantly) that there’s a standard we have to aspire to/live by. The challenge for us lies in staying true to ourselves while also learning to love others who are inherently different from us; different in every sense of the word. What if the meaning of life is found when we’re living our truth without trying to force it on anyone else and in loving people without expecting them to love us back?
